This is another work which is of the same series as “the army of Uesugi Kenshin ”. The painting describes the scene of the army of Takeda Shingen,the old enemy of Uesugi Kenshin, who is also a well-known lord in Japanese history. He was one of the only persons who were able to well-matched in strength with Kenshin Uesugi. The 2 paintings suppose the confrontation of the two armies in Kawanakajima.thanks!
